Sophie Amick

Sophie Amick- Owner, Instructor Born in Nice and raised in the French Alps, Sophie became a certified yoga instructor in 2001. Her path in yoga began ten years ago and became a way of life. She continues to study with teachers from various disciplines; Inyengar, Anusara, and Vinyasa. Sophie owes her transformation to many master instructors and unknown teachers along the way, and also to her students who spark her enthusiasm and inspiration. Her goal at The Yoga Room is to provide students with tools to face the challenges of life in a healthy body and a peaceful mind.

Lindsey Ledbetter - Yoga for Kids Instructor Lindsey  completed the YogaWorks Teacher Training and Children's Yoga Teacher Training with Asheville Yoga Center in 2010. Lindsey believes in the healing and preventative powers of yoga, both on a physical and mental level. Lindsey's dream is to share the endless benefits of yoga, a gift that anyone at any age can experience. Youth is her passion. Yoga for kids and teens is one way she can give back and help to ensure that the next generation is on the path to growing up happy, healthy, and whole. On and off the mat, Lindsey herself insists on allowing her inner child to thrive and always come out to play!
